What this site is
Scratcheer is a free entertainment quiz. It is not a news site, an encyclopaedia or a reference work. Nothing here should be relied on as a fact about any person. The short descriptions shown after a round are written to give context in a game.
Using the site
Play it, share it and send the links to whoever you like. Please do not try to break it, scrape it wholesale, overload it, or pass it off as your own. Any part of the site may change or disappear at any time without notice.
Photos and names
Photos are used to identify the people the quiz asks about, and they are shown with original commentary written for this site. Where a photo carries a licence that asks for credit, the credit appears with the result. Copyright in each photo stays with its owner. Names are used to identify real people and do not imply that those people endorse, approve of or are connected to this site.
If a photo here is yours
If you own rights in a photo on this site, or you are the person in it, and you want it taken down, email info@scratcheer.com. Include enough to identify the picture: the name shown with it, and what your claim is based on.
Photos are removed on a good faith request. No court needs to be involved and no lawyer needs to write first. A picture being taken down is easier for everyone than an argument about it.
Our own material
The code, the written descriptions, the design and the name Scratcheer belong to this site. Please do not copy them wholesale.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available, free of errors or correct, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it, as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your own packs in party mode
Party mode lets you build a pack from your own pictures. Those pictures are kept by your browser on your own device and are never uploaded to us, so we never see them, cannot moderate them and cannot recover them if you lose them. You are responsible for what you put in a pack and for having the right to use it. Do not add pictures of people who would not want to be in one.
Links to other sites
Result screens may link to outside references, the site carries ads, and some links may earn us a commission if you buy something through them. Ads may be supplied by Google or by other advertising companies. We do not control any of those destinations and are not responsible for them, for what they sell, or for how they handle your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did.
