Challenge a friend

Play a run of pictures, copy one link and send it. Whoever opens it gets the same pictures in the same order, and at the end you both see how each round went.

How a run works

A run is a fixed set of pictures played one after another. Your score for each round is the usual one, 100 minus the percentage you scratched, with nothing at all for a wrong name. The totals add up across the run.

When you finish, the page builds a link that carries the exact list of pictures and your score on each of them. Anyone who opens that link plays the same pictures in the same order, and their result screen shows both runs round by round, so you can see which ones you won rather than just who came out ahead.

Nothing is stored anywhere

The link is the whole thing. There is no room code, no account and no server holding your run, which is why it keeps working even if nobody opens it for a month. The picture list and the scores are written into the address itself.

The link does not carry any of the answers. Your friend sees the number you reached and nothing about which faces came up, because handing over the names would make the challenge pointless.

If you are in the same room instead

A run is built for sending to someone who is somewhere else. If the people you want to play with are sitting next to you, party mode is the better fit. It passes one device around, deals everybody different pictures and ends on a leaderboard.
