What this site is
Scratcheer is a free entertainment quiz. It is not a news service, an encyclopaedia or a reference work, and nothing here should be relied on as a statement of fact about any person. The short descriptions that appear after a round are written to give context in a game, not to document anyone's life.
Use of the site
Play it, share it, send the links to whoever you like. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it wholesale, overload it, or pass it off as your own. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
Photographs and names
Photographs are used to identify the people the quiz asks about and are presented alongside original commentary written for this site. Where a photograph carries a licence requiring attribution, the credit is shown with the result. Copyright in each photograph stays with its owner. Names are used to identify real people and imply no endorsement of, association with, or approval by them.
If you own a photograph here
If you hold rights in an image on this site, or you are the person shown, and you want it taken down, email info@scratcheer.com with enough detail to identify the picture — the page, the name, and the basis of your claim. We remove material on a good faith request and do not require a court to be involved. We would rather take a picture down than argue about it.
Original material
The code, the written descriptions, the design and the name Scratcheer belong to this site. Please do not copy them wholesale.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, free of errors, or correct, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
